Born in Adelaide, South Australia, Lewis Fitz-Gerald is an Australian actor, screenwriter, and television director.

Lewis’ career in Australian film began with Bruce Beresford’s landmark feature Breaker Morant. Since then, he has worked across every Australian network and has been nominated for awards as both an actor and director. His work has taken him to the UK, Europe, and the US, and he continues to maintain a remarkably diverse professional career.

As a performer, writer, and director of both drama and documentary, Lewis’s extensive skills and experience have also led him to a parallel career as a teacher and academic.

Lewis is one of Australia’s seasoned audio book narrators and continues to contribute towards the success of an ever growing number of popular Australian audio books that includes Warra Warra Wai, Trapdoor, Bone Lands and The Settlement.
